マイク・シーガーが自宅で亡くなった。享年75歳。
毎日気になっていたのだが。この8月15日で７６歳の誕生日を迎える
はずであったマイク・シーガー。日本にも沢山のファンがいる。
具合が悪いと知ったのが８月３日、５日後には死去。
Sandy Paton と Mike Seegerのことは必ず、雑記のところに書きたい。

New Lost City Rambersの映画が最近、Arhoolie Records関係で発売さてたが
50周年記念アルバム（BOX SET）が8月下旬にSmithsonian Folkwaysより発売
されるという。60年代よりNew Lost City Rambersを聞いていた我々日本人の
愛好家はここで、しっかり彼らは何がったか再確認したい。
昨日は「立秋」、「夏、恋しいまま暦は秋」と新聞で読む。
